Hop Skip and Dump – History.
The Past 20+ years.
Since 1993, Hop Skip and Dump has delivered skips and roll on roll off bins; with a service second to none, across Adelaide Hills.
Based in Woodside, we are proudly part of the Adelaide Hills community, so understand the rubbish removal needs of Adelaide Hills residents.
To access narrow, winding driveways, Hop Skip and Dump have small skip trucks; yet still capable of delivering 9m³ mega skips for larger waste removal needs.
You can read about the dimensions and sizes of our skips on our skip sizes page.
Being environmentally friendly; recycling where ever possible to reduce the amount of rubbish dumped in landfill has always been important to us.
The Next 20+ Years
To maximise our recycling efforts; after purchased by the ‘Waste–Away SA’ group in April of 2016, Hop Skip and Dump separated the skip hire and recycling services to create two separate businesses.
‘Hop Skip and Dump’ will remain focused on delivering skips across Adelaide Hills suburbs, while the new business ‘Adelaide Hills Recycling Centre’; still located at 28 Henry St, Woodside SA, will focus on recycling rubbish collected by our skips, and rubbish Adelaide Hills residents bring in, including 10 cent deposit refund beverage containers and scrap steel at the newly renovated transfer station.
One Location – Two Services
Located at 28 Henry St, Woodside SA 5244, you can either book a skip to remove all of your unwanted rubbish, or you can fill up your boot, ute, station wagon or trailer and bring in your rubbish yourself, knowing you are helping to keep the Adelaide Hills looking beautiful and also helping the environment by having your rubbish recycled as much as possible.
Book A Skip Service
It’s easy to book a skip. Adelaide Hills residents can organise skip hire at our office, online, or over the phone. Read how simple the process is by knowing what you want to throw, the skip size and how long you’ll need to fill it.
Make Money Recycling
Teaching children the importance of recycling will ensure a cleaner environment for many years to come. Did you know you can make money recycling for your school, community group or sporting club by collecting instead of throwing?
Maybe you have some questions. We have many answers to the most common questions people ask about skip hire on our frequently asked questions page.
